Inception
Our team at Social Enterprise Greenhouse during the pre-launch event I planned. We're showcasing the supplementary instructional hair manual, prototype and coloring book that all were apart of the doll kit.
Kickstarter
The Kickstarter was instrumental in the company being able to raise enough capital to bring the first iteration of the dolls to life. I led the initiatives behind our Kickstarter campaign, that allowed us to surpass our goal of $35,000 by ~40%.
Strategic Planning
A large part of the success of the Kickstarter campaign was due to strategic planning and event delegation. Here is a sample of the schedule I created for our product launch event.
Impact
While I have since moved on, the impact of the initial product launch phase can still be felt. Thousands of children are able to play with dolls that represent their own identities. Healthy Roots dolls can be found in big box retail stores all over the US.
